UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination Center

The Union Public Services Commission conducts the Combined Medical Services Examination twice in every year to recruitmedical officers(viz. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, Posts of Assistant Medical Officer in the Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service, Junior Scale posts, General Duty Medical Officer, General Duty Medical Officer Gr.II) in various organizations like Indian Railways, Central Health Service, the Indian Ordnance Factories etc. that function under the Government of India.

The UPSC CMS Examination will be held in the belowmetioned examination centers as decided by the Commission.

NOTE

  • Candidates will be given their choice of examination centers on the first-apply-first-allot basis. Once a particular centre is filled or has reached the maximum number of candidates, then that particular examination centre will be blocked by the Commission so that candidates who are applying thereafter will not be able to select the same center. Those candidates who could not get their desired examination center should choose a centre from the available ones which is convenient to them.
  • For each centre of examination, there will be a ceiling i.e. the maximum number of candidates to be allocated in each centre except Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Nagpur, and Dispur.
  • The Commission has the right to change the Examination Centers at their discretion if the situation warrants.
  • The CMS Exam timetable and centerwill be informed to the candidates who have applied for the exam well in prior.
  • Candidates should carefully select the choice of examination centre while filling the online application form and if any candidates appear at a centre other than allocated by the Commission in such case the candidates’ candidature will be rejection.
  • Candidates should note that the Commission will not entertain the request for change in the examination centre.
