Nationality Eligibility Criterion for SSC CGL Exam

Below is the nationality that candidate should belong to in order to appear for this exam.

  • A candidate must be Citizen of India.
  • A candidate who is a citizen of any other country and migrated to India with an intention to settle down permanently in Indian are also allowed to write the exam. (It is for candidates who are any of the following mentioned countries East African Countries of Kenya, Zaire, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, and Vietnam; Bhutan; Burma; Nepal; Pakistan; Tibetan; Sri Lanka.

Age Limit for SSC CGL

Recently, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has done some changes in the age limit and find below the age limit criterion for SSC CGL Exam, read through to know in detail.

  • A candidate must have been born not before 02.08.1991 and not after 01.08.1998; for the Posts for which age limit is 20-27 years.
  • A candidate must have been born not before 02.08.1991 and not after 01.08.2000; for the Posts for which age limit is 18-27 years.
  • A candidate must have been born not before 02.08.1991 and not after 01.08.2000; for the Posts for which age limit is 20-30 years.
  • A candidate must have been born not before 02.08.1988 and not after 01.08.1998; for the Posts for which age limit is up to 30 years.
  • A candidate must have been born not before 02.08.1986 and not after 01.08.2000; for the Posts for which age limit is up to 32 years.

Note: The upper age limit is relaxable based on the categories mentioned below.
