The reasoning test would include verbal and nonverbal question types in diagrammatic and pictorial form. The English Language Section of the AAO Exam Online Test is qualifying in nature only. This section is to test the English knowledge of the candidates to know how good is the candidate in English. LIC AAO Exam Personal Interview

Candidates who clear the Stage I of the LIC AAO Exam i.e. the Online Test with the requisite sectional cutoff and aggregate cutoff (which is decided by the LIC of India) will be summoned for the interview.

The interview round is a Face to face discussion with the LIC board of interviewers, where the interviewers will ask general questions to the candidates based on their biodata, about LIC, questions based on current affairs, questions related to job and etc.

Selection Procedure: The selection process for LIC AAO post will be made based on the performance in the on-line test followed by a personal interview of short listed candidates and subsequent Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination.

The detailed LIC AAO Exam pattern is as mentioned below.

The Exam is conducted in three stages and comprises of the following stages.

The Online Test is objective type or multiple choice. The exam is conducted for 2 hours’ duration. The LIC AAO Exam Online Test Pattern is as mentioned below.

NOTE:

  • The Online test of the AAO Exam is of Objective type i.e. it consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Duration of the exam is for 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
  • The exam consists of 160 questions asked only various subjects for a total of 300marks.
  • The English Language Test is of Qualifying nature and will not be counted for ranking.
  • There will be cut off for each section along with overall cutoff.
  • There will be sectional cut off along with overall cut off.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.25 % for every wrong answer.
  • There will be a penalty for wrong answer given to a question by the candidates.
  • A negative marking of one-fourth (1/4th) of the marks assigned to that particular question will be awarded as penalty.
  • For questions that are not attempted i.e. for which candidates have not given any answer to such questions there will be no negative marking.
  • Candidates should pass in each section and the aggregate shall be decided by the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India.
  • The marks scored in the English Section of the Online test is only of qualifying nature and will not be counted for ranking purpose.
  • The LIC of India has the discretion to decide the minimum marks in each section of the online test and the total marks for the final ranking.
  • Appearing in the online examination or mere pass in the online examination shall not confer any right on a candidate to be called for personal interview.

1. Pre-exam training for OBC/ SC/ST candidates

  • The LIC of India also provides pre-exam training for OBC/SC/ST candidates. Candidates willing to join the pre-examination should register their name and other details with the Divisional Office of LIC of India.
  • The Divisional Officer will inform the date and venue of the training to the registered OBC/SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates should attend the training at their own cost on the date and at the venue informed to them by the Divisional Office.
  • The address of Divisional Offices of LIC can be taken from the LIC official address.

2. Interview

Candidates who successfully clear the online test will be summoned for the personal interview round.
The number of candidates called for the interview will be about three times the number of vacancies. The number of candidates called for the interview will be purely based on their ranking.

3. Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination

Candidates who are successfully clear the interview round will have to undertake a pre-recruitment medical examination and candidates who are certified medically fit will be offered the letter of appointment for the LIC AAO Posts.

The LIC AAO exam is conducted every year by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). The LIC AAO stands for the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) Assistant Administrative Officer Exam. The AAO Exam is conducted every year by the LIC to recruit Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO) in various branch offices across the nation.

The exam is conducted in three stages as mentioned below.

How to Apply for LIC AAO Exam?

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest Life Insurance Company in India with various branches and Divisional Offices pan India. Every year the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) conducts exam for the recruitment of candidates to the Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) posts.

The LIC AAO Notification 2018 will be released by the LIC of India very soon and the same will be made available on their official website (www.licindia.co)

The expected number of vacancy for LIC AAO 2018 is 700+. Candidates who are willing to apply for the exam here are a few details on how to apply for LIC AAO Exam online.

Candidates can apply online only and no other mode of application will be accepted.

Important points to be noted before registration

Before applying online, candidates should

  • Scan their photograph (Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred). Size of file should be between 20kb-50kb.
  • Scan their signature (Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred). 17. Size of file should be between 10kb —20kb.)
  • Candidate should have valid email ID and mobile number as the LIC may contact the candidates through the registered email ID or Mobile number.
  • Application Fees/ Intimation Charges (Non Refundable). Payment of Fee can be made Online Mode only. Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate

STEPS to apply for LIC AAO Exam Online

STEP 1: Candidates should visit the LIC Official Website (www.licindia.co)

STEP 2: Select the CAREER Section as given in the below image.

STEP 4: Click on the Download Document, once you click on the link a new page will open with important instructions along with the application form.

  • Once the candidate clicks on the ‘Careers’ to open the link “Recruitment of AAO(Gen) & AAO(CA) 2018”. It redirects the candidates to the online registration page.
  • To register application, click on the “Click here for New Registration” tab and enter the requisite details like Name; Contact details; email ID. Once the registration is done, a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system the Provisional Registration Number and Password will be sent to the registered Email ID & mobile number.

STEP 5: Candidates should read the instructions carefully before filling the LIC AAO Application Form.

STEP 6: Candidates should fill all the necessary details carefully and correctly as well as verify the details filled in the online application form as no changes will be entertained by the LIC after submitting the application form.

STEP 7: Candidates should upload the scanned Photo and signature as per the specifications mentioned above.

STEP 8: Read carefully after filling all the details. Make the correct changes and read again.

STEP 9: Candidates can preview their application form before submitting by clicking on the Preview Tab and then click on the Final Submit button.

STEP 10: Click on the Payment Tab and proceed to payment.

  • The fee payment can be made using Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets, Credit Cards, Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS.

STEP 11: Click on the Submit Button.

  • On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated. Non-generation of ‘E-Receipt’ indicates PAYMENT FAILURE.

On failure of payment candidates should login again using their Provisional Registration Number and Password and try the payment process again.

  • Candidates should take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form.

NOTE: If the e-Receipt cannot be generated, then the online transaction may not have been successful.
