LIC AAO Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are applying for the LIC AAO Exam should ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria prescribed by the LIC of India.

NATIONALITY

A candidate should be a citizen of India, or Nepal, Bhutan.
OR
Tibetan Refugee who migrated to India with an intention to settle down permanently.
OR
People who have migrated from Burma; Pakistan; Sri Lanka; Zaire; Zambia, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with an intention to settle down in India permanently.

NOTE: Candidates who have migrated to India should produce the document authorized by the government validating their Citizenship.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

  • Candidate should have obtained any Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from any institution or University that is recognized by the Government if India.
  • Candidate should have passed the degree without any backlog in the particular discipline.
  • Candidates should have basic computer knowledge as well as good communication skills.

AGE LIMIT

  • The candidate must be between 21 and 30 years.
  • There is age relaxation for the reservation group in the upper age limit as mentioned below.
  • Candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC and other categories which are covered under the government reservation act are eligible for age relaxation in upper age limit.
