JE (Junior Engineer) Exam

KPSC Eligibility for JE Exam

The candidates applying for the KPSC Junior Engineer (JE) Examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility criteria for admission to the examination. A candidate’s admission at all the stages of the examination is provisional and purely based on fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria.

The Commission will conduct verification of eligibility criteria with reference to original documents once the candidates qualify for Interview/Personality Test.

A candidate who is not a citizen of India is not eligible to appear in the KPSC JE Examination otherwise in such case with the approval of the Central Government indicated in writing for the appointment or employment under these rules.

Age Limit

For Junior Engineer: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 35 years

Education Qualification

For Junior Engineer:
Candidates must be holder of a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering as per the requirement from the Department of Technical Education in Karnataka.

Selection Process:
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the Kannada Language Test and Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT).
