KPSC Eligibility for AE Exam

The candidates applying for the KPSC ASSISTANT ENGINEER (AE) Examination should ensure that they fulfil all eligibility criteria for admission to the examination. A candidate’s admission at all the stages of the examination is provisional and purely based on fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria.

The Commission will conduct verification of eligibility criteria with reference to original documents once the candidates qualify for Interview/Personality Test.

The Commission as prescribed eligibility condition for various exams like the KAS Eligibility Criteria, similarly there is certain eligibility conditions for Assistant Engineer.

Nationality

A candidate who is not a citizen of India is not eligible to appear in the KPSC AE Examination otherwise in such case with the approval of the Central Government indicated in writing for the appointment or employment under these rules.

Sex

Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for the appointment to the post of AE (Assistant Engineer).

Age Limit

Maximum age limit for the post of Assistant Engineer will be 35 years and minimum age limit of the Assistant Engineer will be 21 years.

Minimium Educational Qualification

Minimum Educational Qualification for KPSC Assistant Engineer (AE)

Candidates should have done Diploma courses from recognised Institute of different engineering courses in part A & B parts of the AMIE or they should have a degree of the Civil and Mechanical Engineering.
